The Zurich cantonal government wants to support the construction of the Flamingo children’s hospice!

This was achieved with a contribution of CHF 6 million from the Canton of Zurich’s Public Benefit Fund (formerly the Lottery Fund). This decision by the Government Council on 30 August 2023 was preceded by a request from our foundation to the Finance Directorate. The final decision now lies with the Cantonal Council.

Together with the affected families, we are delighted about this important milestone on the way to realising the Flamingo children’s hospice, so that families from Switzerland and Liechtenstein with children suffering from life-limiting illnesses can find a “temporary home”!
