Has been working passionately for the Swiss Children’s Hospice Foundation since the end of 2016 and is responsible for communications and marketing. As the Flamingo children’s hospice project progresses, her work becomes increasingly focussed on the communication requirements surrounding the Flamingo children’s hospice. Accompanying this process, seeing a vision grow and approaching the goal together, confirms the meaningfulness of her work and her commitment.

Jolanda Scherler, Coordinator Family Holiday Weeks in Davos
Since 2014, our foundation has been offering family holiday weeks in Davos to families afflicted by children with life-limiting illnesses. The demand for such a week of respite is high. The entire organisation requires professional preparation and careful supervision of all those involved on site in Davos. As coordinator, I have with great pleasure and enthusiasm been responsible for this task for many years

Volunteers are essential in supporting families and helping setting up our first children’s hospice. We have been able to benefit from their help for the Davos Family Holiday Weeks for many years. A team of volunteers with local knowledge supports us so that the whole family can benefit optimally from their week of respite.
We also rely on the help of volunteers during the construction and subsequent operation of the Flamingo children’s hospice. Now, in the “set-up phase”, we are looking for volunteers to help us in the following areas:
- Online marketing, social media
- fundraising
- “On-site” activities, e.g. at market/info stands
We would be delighted to receive your application using the form below! Nicola Presti (for the foundation) and Samuel Graf (for the Flamingo children’s hospice) will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Please note: The information you provide will be treated as ‘strictly confidential’.
